Pieters looks to break with the ball and Antonio, having missed his kick, then slides in and fouls the left back from behind. Booking for him.
Ohh great opportunity for Stoke there as Walters is put through by Bony. He takes a bit of a heavy touch and delays a cross into the box, sadly allowing the defenders to get in plcae to intercept and clear. Ramadan was poised behind them.
Bony finds room in the West Ham half and runs at James Collins. He shifts the ball onto his right foot and shoots from 20 yards out but the centre half makes a block. Allen is on hand for the rebound but fires that over the bar.
Grant does well to punch a dangerous looking cross into the box from the left away. Noble tries his luck from distance but his half volley is poor and drops out well wide.
Walters blocks Cresswell's low cross from the left and the home team get a corner as they to put an end to their very slow start.
Oh great save by Grant! And Stoke clear their lines. Antonio I think it was who roses at the back post to power a header down. The keeper not only saves it but scoops it out of danger. Great stuff Lee!
Walters involved again at the other end and he flights a cross into the box. Bony rises to meet it with a header but cannot get that one on target sadly. Goal kick.
Intricate play by Stoke almost culminates in an attempt at goal. Ramadan plays a one-two with Allen inside the area but his pass into Bony is cut out. He could have perhaps gone for goal there!
Free kick to Stoke as Bardsley is clipped. Adam curls the ball in from the left but that one is headed clear easily. Bardsley then volleys wide again.
There's been several breaks in play with Shawcross, Martins Indi and now Walters getting knocks. Hopefully they'll all pull through So far it seems like they well. Still goalless with five minutes of the first half remaining.
It's been largely frustrating for the hosts with Stoke doing well. Grant making the save of the game up to yet, mind.
